Launched in October 2024, The Creative Hub is a new artistic membership in Scotland between ourselves and Perth Theatre in the areas of theatre & the media.  The hub, based at the central Scottish location of Perth Theatre. links, connects, nourishes, and develops professional creatives across Scotland and their work and importantly supports their well-being.

Created and run by theatre producer, playwright & actress Lisa Nicoll who  has worked for the last 15 years with companies such as The Tron Theatre, Perth Theatre, Creative Scotland, Knights Theatre, Playwrights Studio, The Edinburgh International Book Festival, BBC Radio and set up new writing company In Motion Theatre, we have been developing this model over the last few years and are delighted to be working with Perth Theatre on this.

Lisa has a grounded, people centred approach in an often-isolating industry to empower, nourish and connect people with work and each other and has a huge focus on the health of the creative.  ​​​

The Creative Hub membership aimed at actors, directors, writers, producers and freelance artists, is £150 annually and payment plans are available.

 

This membership is open to trained and  working professionals in their creative field to keep people motivated, supported, inspired and healthy.

​This year in we are also introducing a final year Student Membership at £50 and a Graduate Membershp at £112.50 (25% off)​

There will also be numerous creative, inspirational sessions from Lisa and guests in the areas of career paths, writing and funding. In addition to this there will be talks and workshops in Yoga, Podcasting, Graphic Novels, AI and Theatre and bimonthly panel sessions with venue leads and film and TV companies from across Scotland to create a rounded inspiring programme.
